Scholars Initiative

The Pharmacist Hub Scholars Initiative is pleased to announce a call for applications to award three pharmacy students in their third or fourth years who need financial assistance to complete their doctorates. This program aims to provide financial assistance to student pharmacists interested in pursuing a career in medical communications after graduation.

Our goal in offering the Pharmacist Hub Minority Award, Leadership Award, and Entrepreneurship Award is to support students who are members of underrepresented racial and ethnic minority groups interested in medical communications.

Eligible students must be in their third or fourth years of study at an accredited pharmacy school with a minimum GPA of 3.0. They must also be active in the community and involved with professional organizations such as, but not limited to, the Student National Pharmaceutical Association. Applicant must be a U.S citizen or permanent resident.

Award recipients will be selected based on their academic record, professional work experience, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, personal statement, and a panel interview.

Students can apply for the Pharmacist Hub Scholars Initiative Awards starting February 15, 2023.
